Samsung Extreme clamshell phone is now official

Folks living in South Korea will now be able to pick up the SPH-W9705 rugged clamshell handset, also known as the Samsung Extreme. Available on an exclusive basis to KT, the Anycall Extreme will come in a sporty albeit secure design, where it uses reinforced plastic to prevent it from experiencing some really nasty accidental damage that would befall a standard handset during an accident. Being IP54-certified means it is dust- and water-proof, working just fine in extremely low or high temperatures. For $354 thereabouts, you will also get an electronic compass, altimeter and SOS function with it.
