Slacker enables custom playlists now

Slacker has just announced that their Internet radio service will blossom into a full on-demand system, as subscribers can now gain access to a new paid feature which will include the option of finding and playing specific songs, in addition to creating their own playlists. Instead of other services such as Rhapsody, the radio feature is able to see action even in this mode while a playlist can be created automatically based on favorited songs, or you can choose to create a larger radio station out of a user-made playlist. With on-demand playback lets you gain controls such as skipping back through songs. It is currently able to run on BlackBerry and iPhone, with an Android version coming soon.
