Just in case you are overworked at the office and can’t tell that all those palpitations and sweaty palms are but the results of stress, here’s a pair of socks from ETH Zurich’s Electronics Laboratory that will monitor your stress levels so that you can identify the tipping point to prevent burnout and depression more effectively. Since our body secretes more sweat when under stress, sensors have been included into normal socks so that it can get to work, knowing just how much stress you have accumulated over the week to provide you with a warning to slow down and take things easy.
