Sonnet’s latest Fusion DP800P2 RAID system is capable of offering up to 16TB of storage space by virtue of holding up to 8 hard drives inside, where you can choose from 4TB, 8TB, 12TB and 16TB arrangements as default. Alternatively, you can also have a greater degree of customization on your part by ordering the rack sans drives for custom installations. Among the configurations that can be used include RAID 0, 1, 10 and JBOD, where dual port multipliers are touted to enable 475MB/s read and 390MB/s write speeds, respectively. Prices start from $1,995 upwards for the 4TB model, hitting $4,595 for the 16TB monster.
