Sony Announces New Headphones

Sony has announced a few new headsets, namely the DR-EX300iP, MDR-EX38iP, and MDR-E10iP. All of these headsets offer in-line remote controls, which will be a boon to the many iPod/iPhone users out there, since you’ll be able to access the commonly used functions easily, without having to pull out your music player. The built-in microphone also lets iPhone users chat hands-free. The headsets offer either 9mm or 13mm Neodymium drivers, and a choice of different colors, offering you good sound quality and the choice of colors. The DV-V150iP headphones that were announced are apparently “tailor-made for DJs”, and offer the same in-line controls and mic, but sport a 30mm ferrite driver, promising deep bass and generous power handling. Currently only the MDR-EX38iP is available (at $40), while the other models are due out in May.
