Sprint’s HTC Hero To Get An Android 2.1 Update On April 9th?

This is still firmly in the rumor but, but according to the supposed leak of an internal Sprint document, a maintenance release for the HTC Hero is tentatively scheduled for April 9th, and while it doesn’t directly say it’s an Android 2.1 update, the tipster suggests that the it will be the 2.1 update that we’ve all be waiting for. Of course, there isn’t any official confirmation of this, but considering that April 9th is just around the corner, let’s kick back and see if any update will be pushed out by then, eh?
