Shannon Henry literally took things into her own hands, turning a hand-sewn tulle wrap skirt into a star light sparkling evening gown. This was made possible by integrating fiber optics and lights which will change color according to the speed and direction of the wearer’s movement – guess it would make for a really groovy ballroom gown! The starlight skirt’s center holds a LilyPad which will translate the motion sensors’ input into various colors on the stars placed throughout the skirt, resulting in a dynamic light pattern. We wonder when will the haute couture houses pick up on such visionary designs.
