Sun Power Technology mini-notebook

Just when you thought that netbooks and Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs) were the smallest category mobile computing machines out there, along comes Sun Power Technology with their, well, device which falls under no man’s land. After all, it comes with a 4.8″ touchscreen display at 800 x 480 resolution, a QWERTY keyboard, 512MB RAM, flash memory, Wi-Fi connectivity and a battery life which is good for up to 2 hours. Tipping the scales at 1.8 pounds, the QWERTY keyboard looks rather redundant since it isn’t large enough for comfortable touch typing, but is more suited for a pair of thumbs. What is this, a thigh book?
