Tanita has come up with a meter-integrated body composition weighing machine that boasts an SD memory card slot to store information within, and it will hit the Japanese market come this April. All data that is stored on its SD memory card can be read on a PC thanks to its data management software, where chronological graphs are generated from the data. The main reason behind an SD card? Well, Tanita claims it offers more durability compared to a regular USB drive with all the insertion and removal, although we leave that up to open debate.
