The F-35B Supersonic Jet Can Hover In Midair

While helicopters do it all the time, how often do you see supersonic stealth jets sport Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) feats? The F-35B is the first supersonic jet to boast such abilities, and it managed to remain stationary 150 feet above the runway at the Patuxent River naval base in Maryland.
