Can’t wait for Apple’s iPad to ship to your doorstep? Well, if you have a MSI Wind and a bunch of technical know-how, not to mention a ruthless streak that will allow you to gut your netbook, you should be able to come up with your own frakentablet using your MSI Wind. Someone over at the MSI Wind fansite, Insanely Wind, has removed the keyboard and popped a touchscreen display to the bottom half of the MSI Wind and turned in into some sort of tablet device. Add in a hackintosh build of OS X, and you’ve got something resembling an iPad, but with a whole lot more storage space, faster speed, VGA output, webcam, USB ports, and a built-in card reader. Not too shabby eh?
