Verizon Wireless gets in on the act of having its very own app store known as V CAST Apps in order to pave a new way of revenue, especially for smartphone owners who want to download applications to use on the range of handsets offered. This launch is tipped to happen today, and will be available on a very limited basis initially, starting with the BlackBerry Storm alongside other RIM devices coming shortly. Presumably, the app store will also be made available to other mobile operating systems over the coming weeks and months.
