The 2go Convertible Classmate PC NL2 is now available for the masses, where it retails for $499 a pop and will be powered by an Intel Atom N250 processor, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 4-cell battery and Windows XP Home as the operating system of choice. Expect the 2go to ship to schoolkids later this week, where hopefully it will help the little ones increase their grades in due time.
