Nobody likes wearing those pesky 3D glasses in order to enjoy 3D technology. Nintendo is obviously looking to help us solve that with its 3DS, but the folks over at Newsight are also working to improve 3D technology, and they’re showcasing a 70-inch TV that is capable of producing 3D images without forcing you to wear those ugly glasses. This is achieved due to parallax barrier technology, which consists of an extra screen with well-placed slits sitting in front of the LCD, letting each of your eyes to see a slightly different image. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of viewing angles will be available using this technology.
