Acer expands its line of notebooks with the TimelineX – a step further from the Timeline series which was already thin and light. The 11.6″ model does seem to be pretty interesting, as it will be the next logical upgrade to the existing line of Aspire 1810 notebooks. Underneath the hood, you will find an Intel Core i5 U50 1.07GHz processor in lieu of the Intel CULV chips, accompanied by an 11.6″ display at 1,366 x 768 resolution, a touchpad, HDMI and VGA outputs, a trio of USB ports, Ethernet connectivity and a memory card reader. It measures somewhere between 22mm and 28.9mm in terms of thickness, and you can be sure that this puppy is super light. No idea on pricing or availability though.
