Allerta inPulse watch targets BlackBerry owners

Allerta is back with their new inPulse watch at WES, offering a functional prototype to the masses this time round. This Bluetooth-enabled watch comes with an AMOLED display, making it easily readable even under harsh meeting room lighting, although there has been no demonstration of it working equally well under bright and direct sunlight but we guess there is always space to remain optimistic, eh? The whole idea of the inPulse would be to present relevant message, calendar, and caller ID content which will come in handy whenever you’re caught in a situation where pulling out your BlackBerry isn’t exactly the best thing to do at that point in time. There is no word on a shipping date just yet, and neither do we have a speculative price point. All we know is, it works only with BlackBerrys at the moment, and you can even check out firmware updates that occur via Bluetooth from your smartphone.
