Android-powered HTC Desire Hits Australia

The HTC Desire is certainly a desirable phone (pun intended), and the folks over in Australia should be rather happy to hear that Telstra has officially launched the phone over there. Currently Telstra is the only carrier in Australia to offer this phone, so it should be quite happy about that. If you’re unwilling to tie yourself to a carrier contract, you can buy the phone outright for $779. Specifications of the HTC Desire include:
