Archos 7 Home Tablet Visits The FCC

The Archos 7 Home Tablet has taken one step closer to ending up in a retail store near you, as it has taken the time from its busy schedule to pay a visit to the FCC. From the pictures, you might have noticed that the device has been branded with German wireless carrier EWE’s logo on the front, possibly implying that Archos is planning to offer 3G enabled versions of its tablet, though there isn’t any mention of whether a 3G version will be available in the US. Specifications of the Archos 7 Home Tablet , which should have a starting price of $179, include:

  • 7-inch WVGA touchscreen display
  • 700MHz ARM9-based Rockchip 2808 Processor
  • 2GB-8GB flash storage
  • Wi-Fi
  • microSD card slot

FCC filing.
