Netbooks generally aren’t powerful devices, but the upcoming Eee PC 1215N from Asus might be able to change that perception. The most notable thing about this netbook will be its dual-core Atom N500 processor, as well as NVIDIA’s next-generation ION chip, along with NVIDIA Optimus technology. There isn’t any mention of how good this netbook’s battery life will be, but hopefully it will be able to live up to the current expectations of battery life for netbooks. Word is going around that the 1215N will be available in June, and while there isn’t any official confirmation on that just yet, we’re certainly looking forward to it.
