Biochip capable of diagnosing illness via blood

The German research institute Fraunhofer IZM has stumbled upon something that might just revolutionize the medical industry – they are about to stumble upon success for a lab-on-a-chip design which is smart enough to diagnose deep vein thrombosis from a solitary drop of blood. Talk about amazing, it can also double up as a wristband which measures your body temperature, skin moisture and electromagnetic radiation courtesy of plastic chips and sensors that measure all of a few micrometers thin. Even more impressive is the fact that these tiny miracles can be printed in reels and sheets! Hopefully they will be cheap enough for the layman to use!
