Containerized electric vehicle charging station

Beautiful Earth Group recently rolled out their containerized electric vehicle (EV) charging station in Red Hook, Brooklyn to keep up with the times where going green is all the rage. Thanks to a highly placed array of photovoltaic panels, the BMW Mini E as seen here is powered by juice generated by the off-grid, modular station. Nice to see that this station is built using recycled shipping containers to keep in line with the green theme. A 3-hour charge will help the BMW Mini E run for around 100 miles, which ain’t too shabby. Just in case you need to make additional charges, a battery bank located on the upper level of the charging station can be summoned for some action. Now if only electric vehicles weren’t that expensive…
