The Cowon D3 has yet to be announced and released to the masses, but that has not stopped it from being the subject of rumors that it is powered by the Android operating system. Whatever the case is, we do hope that the use of an Android OS on this upcoming portable media player (if proven true) would not detract from the overall user experience, as it needs to be well executed in order to prove worthy of inclusion, and not just implemented haphazardly simply because there are no license fees to fork out.
