Dell refutes story of 10-inch netbook pullout

We’re sorry for letting out the story about Dell and HP purportedly pulling out from the 10″ netbook market, as Dell has come forward to say that all of it is fake – they are still in the 10″ netbook game with the Inspiron Mini 10 netbook being an important member of their mobile platform portfolio, considering it is a great secondary companion device as people appreciate the compact size and the ability to stay connected on the go. Guess folks who thought that their Inspiron Mini 10 is suddenly going to fetch a high price once production stops are wrong. Image from Steve’s Stories.

Dell: Dell Inc. is one of largest technology corporations in the world. Michael Dell started the company in 1984, and it sold computers built from stock components. Previously named PCs Limited, the company created the "Turbo PC," the company's first computer. In 1988, the company changed its name to Dell Computer Corporation. Dell sells personal computers, servers, data storage devices, network switches, software, and computer peripherals. Dell acquired computer hardware company Alienware in 2006, and Perot Systems, an information technology services provider, in 2009. Dell is also considered as the third largest PC vendors in the world, next to HP and Lenovo (as of 12/30/2013).
