Dolby And Nokia To Bring High Definition Audio Experience To The Mobile Scene

Nokia and Dolby have announced that they’re collaborating to bring Dolby’s surround sound technologies into select phone worldwide. This announcement comes hot on the heels of the unveiling of Nokia’s N8 smartphone that already incorporates Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 surround sound technology. With that in place, users will be able to enjoy Dolby Digital Plus surround sound by hooking the N8 up a home theater system via an HDMI connection.
