If the delay for the iPad to be released internationally is too long, and you can’t wait for the iPad to reach your country, most people would just buy one and ship it over, which is perfectly fine. That being said, you probably wouldn’t want to try that trick if you’re planning to ship it over to Israel, as the country’s Communications Ministry has decided to block the import of iPads. Apparently it has asked iDigital, Apple’s distributor in Israel, for details on how the iPad works, and it will not allow the iPads in till it’s satisfied. There isn’t any indication of how long it will take before the U.S. version of the iPad will be allowed into Israel, but if you’re there, you’re going to have to play the waiting game.
