If you have a visual disability, you generally won’t be reading maps, but with the DROP GPS system concept, you might be able to get in on all the GPS fun that’s going around nowadays. What this device will do is that it can use 3D dots to allow the blind to “see” the maps. It functions more or less like Braille, but it will be interesting to see how feasible such a concept would be. After all, reading a book and navigating a map are two different things. Of course, we’d be more than happy to see such a device in the market, not to mention review it. Should it be turned into a real product?
