Dukane is not a name that many of us are familiar with, but today they have a brand new short throw projector known as the ImagePro 8111H. It is capable of displaying 2,000 ANSI lumens of brightness in WXGA (1,280 x 800) resolution alongside a 16:10 aspect ratio for movie buffs, and thanks to its short throw distance, it allows to keep the projector out of the way while displaying presentations. Apart from that, it will also do its bit to reduce shadows on the screen while making sure not much bright light will get in the way of the presenter’s eyes. Additional features comprise of networking connectivity, an HDMI port, and both an air filter and lamp that lasts 4,000 hours. Strangely enough, there is no word on pricing or availability as at press time.
