The WiMAX Forum in Taipei saw a WiMAX-enabled ECS TL101-PC being displayed, where this netbook will be able to help you surf at far superior speeds compared to current 3G technology regardless of where you are, subject to signal strength of course. Interestingly enough, this netbook comes with a silent mode which will turn the fan off automatically whenever you unplug it from a power outlet. Nice to know that the status lights have been built into the touchpad buttons for added cosmetics, looking pretty neat in the beginning although it ends up as rather annoying once you realize that they flash constantly at you whenever you type.
