The folks over at the FCC have already given their collective nod of approval for the Samsung Galaxy S to arrive Stateside, where it will feature AT&T-friendly 3G bands which means that AT&T’s range of Android devices will be greatly boosted in terms of its portfolio, since the current Android-powered phone from that carrier is limited to the Motorola BACKFLIP at the moment. While the supported bands aren’t a given that AT&T will be the carrier of choice, it is pretty high when one takes history into consideration.
