
Take a good hard look at the picture above, and when you’re done rubbing your eyes; you’ll have to believe that you’re actually seeing Mozilla’s Firefox running on a Palm Pre. This is the work of Dave Townsend, a developer for Mozilla that works on Firefox (amongst other projects). The Firefox version in question here was ported from the Linux version, though there aren’t any detailed instructions on how you can do this yourself, which is more or less understandable, since it’s currently still a hobby project, and you can be sure that there are bugs to be ironed out. That being said, there is some rather detailed information on the port on his website. Are webOS users out there praying hard that this becomes an official project in the future?
