
When a device has been spotted at a particular retailer before it is officially announced coupled with an appearance on the internal computer system, you can bet your bottom dollar that it is ready to hit the market, real soon at that. The Flip S1240W is such a device, where it now shows up as an internal systems entry which references the S1240W model as one from Cisco’s consumer division, calling it a digital camcorder.
