While the trend nowadays is to get a phone powered by Apple’s iPhone OS or Google’s Android, it’s nice to see that Google hasn’t forgotten folks who are still running devices powered by Symbian and Windows Mobile. The search engine giant has updated Google Maps for mobile to offer voice search for your Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 smartphones. So instead of having to fiddle with your keypad, you can just hit a button and state your destination to the phone. You’ll even be able to ask it for a specific address, retail outlet, or even a type of place such as a coffee shop. Not too bad, eh? Related articles:
