Google Earth now available for Droid Android 2.1 users

Remember our earlier post on Google Earth that was rendered unavailable for Verizon Motorola Droid owners after updating their device to Android 2.1? Well, it seems that this mix up has been fixed, and Google Earth is back in the market, maintaining its free download status. No idea on who is at fault here, but it is very possible that someone at Google forgot to include Verizon as an acceptable carrier to download the application.
