Check out this interesting modification of the Canon AE-1 Program SLR that hails all the way back from 1981 – it was originally designed to handle film back in the day, but this time round it is a digital shooter thanks to the brilliance and brains of a hacker. It would be nice to see camera manufacturers take note of such talent and idea, and perhaps bring back the good old retro designs into new DSLRs?
