HP And Dell Ditching 10-inch Netbooks?

Word is out that Dell is will be scaling back its interest in 10-inch netbooks, while HP might even be ditching 10-inch netbooks entirely. This update comes as manufacturers are looking to larger 11.6-inch models, which are easier to read, and can offer larger keyboards. The netbook market is also expected to slow slightly this year, as tablet computers increase in popularity, and let’s not forget Apple’s upcoming iPad. Do you think that 10-inch netbooks are too small? Will the 11.6-inch notebooks be able to satisfy your appetite for computing, or have you already set your heart on the Apple iPad?

Update: This is a hoax as Dell has issued a statement that the above is not true, and they will continue to offer the Inspiron Mini 10 as part of their product lineup.
