HTC certainly comes up with some pretty cool cell phone designs, and now the Taiwanese company has filed for another patent, this time regarding the hinge on the cell phone. According to the patent, the clamshell design would hide the hinge on the inner part of the phone, making the exterior of the phone look much cleaner and sleeker. While it’s just a patent filing picture, it’s worth noting that in the picture both sides of the phone are about the same thickness, which gives us hope that perhaps it’s a dual-touchscreen design that the company has in mind for the future, though that’s probably pushing our luck.
