Folks living in the UK will be able to get their hands on the LG Optimus GT540 Android-powered smartphone pretty soon, where it sports a 3″ HVGA display, a 3-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, A-GPS capability, DivX and Xvid compatibility, a 3.5mm jack and a social networking client that makes it a snap for you to hook up to various sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Bebo. It can also be expanded memory-wise thanks to a microSD memory card slot, although we’re not sure which version of Android it will come with. You can choose from a quartet of colors – black, white, pink and silver, and we hope to get a whiff of its price soon. [Press Release]
