McAfee does not see light at the end of the tunnel

McAfee’s troubles that we reported yesterday concerning a faulty antivirus update which brought Windows XP computers to a halt worldwide has yet to be abated, since every machine will have to be repaired individually, and the entire process could very well take anywhere from days to weeks. Of course, those who have downloaded the update but did not yet apply them could very well be in for a nasty surprise if it were to be installed weeks down the line. Guess support technicians will be extremely busy people for the next few weeks, regardless of where they are!
