Motorola Backflip to get Android 2.1 update

Looks like the Motorola Backflip will be getting an android 2.1 update, although you will need to have oodles of patience since the update is scheduled for a Q3 release later this year, which is a full quarter away from the CLIQ. Makes you wonder whether you should have gotten the Droid instead, eh, considering the Droid is getting the Eclair update just about now. Of course, we don’t really know what’s the delay between all the updates, but if history is to be judged, Motorola could full well change its update release dates in the blink of an eye – hopefully sooner, too!
