Multiple Versions Of iPhone 4.0 Firmware Spotted?

The folks over at PixelCUBE Studios, who currently hold the top spot on iTunes’ list of free iPhone app downloads, have found some rather interesting usage stats. It seems that three different versions of the iPhone OS 4 have surfaced in its analytics: 4.0, 4.0.1 and 4.1. Of course, it wouldn’t be too surprising if Apple were working on multiple versions of the iPhone firmware at the same time. This could also turn out to be someone’s idea of a joke. If it’s true, we’re certainly looking forward to the updates, especially the iPhone 4.0 details this Thursday.
