
If you’ve been experiencing some rather strange magenta-colored banding in the images churned out by your Canon EOS 7D camera, there is some good news for you. Canon has released an official firmware update on its site, bringing the firmware version up to 1.2.1, and the latest firmware also addresses the earlier mentioned magenta issue. The usual safety precautions apply when updating your firmware, such as using a fully charged battery and not shutting off the power during the update.
