Accidents can happen anytime, anywhere, which are why they are called just that. While some might be minor, an automobile accident is always something dangerous, with many permutations available for an accident to happen. Most of it boils down to the driver though, and some of us do nod off while we’re at the wheel for a variety of reasons, causing us to drift into another lane and onto oncoming traffic. Researchers at the North Carolina State University have come up with a program that can interpret what it sees from a computer before making a decision, helping you get back on your lane without human control – nifty! This program works by using algorithms to sort visual data, resulting in a decision that finds lanes on the road to keep you on the right side. It is still being refined though, but we hope it will hit the market soon enough.
