Have one penny in your pocket, and thinking about the good old days where a single penny is able to net you something worthwhile? Fret not, Amazon intends to bring back the days of yore with a $0.01 Palm Pre Plus or Palm Pixi Plus, although you obviously need to sign up with a 2-year contract. Heck, why can’t they just offer it for free and waive the penny? Perhaps this is a great marketing ploy since there are so many “free” handsets these days going around, consumers will perk up when their radar notices something different.
