Pasen has a brand new MID ( Mobile Internet Device) for the masses – the aptly named MID5 that will see Android as the operating system of choice. Other features include a 5” 800 x 480 LPTS display, Wi-Fi connectivity, the ability to decode up to 720p H.264/DIVX/AVI/RMVB including the popular format MKV (Matroska). Apparently, battery life is pretty decent with 4.5 hours of video playback and more than double that amount for audio. No idea on availability, but Pasen claims that it will hit the market for $199.
