Samsung Exec arrives on US Cellular

The Samsung Exec, also known as the SCH-i225, is now available for U.S. Cellular subscribers who want something decent and yet affordable. The Exec will throw in the functionality of a smartphone without bulking up the form factor, running on Windows Mobile 6.5 which offers rudimentary access to Outlook ActiveSync support, Office documents and Internet Explorer among others. It will connect to the CDMA 1x EVDO band and runs on a 667MHz processor, accompanied by a 2.4″ display at 320 × 240 resolution, GPS navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, a 2-megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot. How much for a basic smartphone like this? Expect to fork out $99.95 on a two-year contract and after a $70 mail-in rebate.
