Sanyo knows how students tend to stay up till the wee hours of the morning to indulge in some gaming or other nocturnal activities, hence setting up their brains to crash at class. With the Sanyo ICR-XRS120MF Xacti PCM/MP3 recorder, it ought to be able to handle just about any boring lecture without missing a beat, as long as its 2GB microSD memory card is not full. Being super slim at just 11mm, you can dock it on a special cradle/speaker system, where you can then set the ICR-XRS120MF to record your favorite FM radio shows. No idea on pricing or availability though, but it does look to be a strong candidate as a Japan-only device.
