Self-driving car approaches reality

Looks like researchers have managed to take a step closer towards self-driving cars, and if this system will work as intended (with further refinement, of course), then you can be sure that there won’t be the need to go through driving lessons anymore as your vehicle gets you from point A to point B safe and sound, unless its wiring goes rogue. Of course, this might mean a loss of jobs for cab drivers as well, but a scenario like this probably won’t ring true at least for another century – what do you think?
