Sharp BD-HDS55 and BD-HDS53 Blu-ray recorders

Sharp knows that you are a busy executive, and cannot be on hand to watch all your favorite TV shows all the time, which is why they have come up with the BD-HDS55 and BD-HDS53 Blu-ray recorders. Arriving in Japan this May 24th onwards, the players were specially designed to play nice with Japanese SKYPerfectTV and other Digital TV programs. Being DLNA compatible, they will record in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 formats, and is also compatible with BD-R/RE and DVD-R/RW and DVD-R media formats. Connectivity options include HDMI, S Video, composite, optical digital and analog sound, i.LINK and Ethernet. The BD-HDS55 comes with a 500GB hard drive to get you started, while the BD-HDS53 has a smaller 320GB hard drive within, retailing for around $967.50 and $860, respectively.
