Snaptu App Store Hits AT&T App Beta Site

Not everybody’s phone might have a built-in App Store like the iPhone or those Android devices, but Snaptu might be able to help you out with that. It functions more or less like an app store for mobile phones that don’t have one built-in, notably phones that run Java ME. Even other platforms such as Windows Mobile and Symbian can benefit from Snaptu. It’s currently available on AT&T’s Apps Beta site and has about 20 apps at the moment, but hopefully the figure will grow. Do you think these third party app stores will one day become as popular as Apple’s groundbreaking App Store?
