Sony PS3 3D Firmware Upgrade Confirmed For This Summer

Do you remember the 3D goodness on the PS3 that we checked out at CEATEC 2009? We previously mentioned that the 3D firmware update for the PS3 would be arriving in the summer, and now it seems that we’ve got more confirmation on it, as the latest episode of Qore, Sony’s downloadable PSN promotional series, has confirmed that the 3D firmware will be released this summer. Aside from that, there’s an additional title that will be included in the list of games set to receive the 3D treatment - Killzone 2. Are you looking forward to getting the 3D firmware update for your PlayStation, or are you not ready to spend the money on getting a 3D-capable TV?
